Now it’s time to make some noise in Miami for HyFlyers Golf Club.
The team concluded the regular season at LIV Golf Jeddah presented by ROSHN with a 10th-place finish on the event’s team leaderboard. On the season-long team leaderboard, HyFlyers Golf Club sits in ninth place entering next week’s Team Championship in Miami.
Captain Phil Mickelson flashed some of his legendary short game and long game in Jeddah. He finished under par for all three rounds and had back-to-back 2-under 68s on the weekend to finish 31st. Mickelson’s game appears to be sharp. He had a top-10 finish a month ago at LIV Golf Bedminster.
Cameron Tringale led the way for HyFlyers GC in Jeddah and finished 10 under on the week, including going 9 under on the weekend. Teammate Brendan Steele wasn’t too far behind and shot 7 under for the week in Jeddah. Both players finished in the Lock Zone and are set for 2024.
James Piot did not have a counting score in Jeddah and finished 3 over for the week. He will fall into the Drop Zone as the regular season concludes.
But before that, the Team Championship in Miami will get underway in one week, and HyFlyers Golf Club will have a chance to play spoiler with aggressive play.
